Forward Trust Patron The Duchess of Cambridge has joined forces with presenting duo Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly to launch the charity's new Taking Action on Addiction campaign, which 'aims to drive awareness and understanding of addiction'.

The event, which took place during Addiction Awareness Week, was closed by singer/songwriter Tom Walker with a special performance of Leave A Light On, and Kate delivered the keynote speech, commenting 'Addiction is not a choice. No one chooses to become an addict. But it can happen to any one of us. None of us are immune'.
